The Heart Institute is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization
that depends on financial, in-kind and volunteer support from
individuals, corporations and foundations to sustain and expand
our research, education and community outreach programs.
Special events-including the annual SweetHeart Luau in February
and the popular "Spark Your Heart" 5K race held in the Old
Mill District of Bend help us raise money and awareness to
bring the best of care and prevention of cardiovascular disease
to Central Oregon. Individual contributions,
corporate support, and research grants are also critical to the
long-term viability of the Heart Institute and our continuum of
programs. Contributions to the Heart Institute can be made
through by contacting our office, or through our secure online
donation system.
