Every year, the Heart Institute hosts a SweetHeart Luau and Benefit Auction to support community outreach programs that promote the best in care and prevention of heart disease throughout central Oregon. The tradition continues in its eight year in 2010 with live Hawaiian-themed music from Bend's own Bill Keale, great food, cool beverages and the perfect excuse to laugh off winter with fresh flower leis, mango martinis and many other flavors of festive Hawaiian lounging.
This year's event will take place on February 6, 2010 at The Riverhouse Convention Center in Bend.
You can support the Luau in two ways:
