The Heart Institute's research programs create new knowledge that improves treatment and prevention of heart disease. Research clinical trials make available to area residents the newest diagnostic techniques and treatments that would otherwise take years to reach Central Oregon. Through research grants and pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials, the Heart Institute brings the most advanced, cutting-edge thinking and technology in heart care to our region. These programs also attract top heart care experts to Central Oregon and establish our region as a renowned center for cardiac treatment and clinical research.
